  Whats in a Name?

  Braza,  the name which comes from the Portuguese word for “flame” or “flame of a coal”, is a concept based around the Portuguese discoverers who travelled the world in search of new lands, adventure and global trade. With these journeys they spread their language, culture and food. Their traditional food and their influence on local dishes became commonplace in small enclaves of Portuguese society, and have been the realm of  hidden dining destinations and generally inaccessible to the average restaurant patron.
  
  The Braza restaurant is built to reflect the warmth and hospitality of the Portuguese culture and replicates typical Portuguese kitchens, with its solid wooden tables, rich natural earthy colours, and a hint of the homeland. Our restaurants are made for family and friends and are perfect places for sharing a meal with loved ones.
  
  The menu is constructed around signature Portuguese dishes, from Espetadas, which is Braza's speciality line, to chicken dishes and seafood prepared in a traditional way.
