About This Dish

This will warm the cockles of your heart this winter! Can be done in a slow cooker too although remember to add the veggies in the last 2 hours or so so they don't disintegrate!

What You'll Need

  • smoked sausage
  • 1 head green cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni (your choice variety)
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 12 small new potatoes, quartered
  • 2 cups catsup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar,
  • 10 cups beef stock
  • salt & pepper to taste

How To Make It

Cut meat into bite size pieces. Brown in soup pot then remove meat.

Saute onions and garlic in meat juices and oil untiltransparent.
Add remaining ingredients and meat.

Simmer 45 minutes
