About This Dish
The most succulent meal, that is great for casual dinners as well as entertaining evenings. This may just be the best meal you create.
What You'll Need
- 4 300g Pieces of Matured Rump Steak
- 4 Dried Bay leaves
- 2 Tablespoons Cracked Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Couse Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Dijion Mustard
- 1 Tablepoon of Olive Oil
How To Make It
Place pieces of rump on a marble or wood cutting block
Rub Mustard on both side of the rump
Crack pepper over each piece of rump on both side evenly
Place in the the fridge for 5-10 min
Heat up cast-iron frying pan or wok to high and place olive oil inside pan. Pre-heat pan to
Place 2 pieces at a time in the pan with the bay leaves. do not remove bay leaves until all steaks are done.
Turn steaks every 6 Min and add salt and extra pepper if needed. Depending on the way you like your rump, remove once satisfied.
The steaks is best served medium to rare/ medium. Serve immediately with potato wedges of fries. Look out for the my amazing mushroom sauce to go with it.
